On roofs and terraces we lay 3mm and 4mm bituminous membrane, sealing the joints watertight with a torch. On open terraces, liquid membrane and UV-resistant coatings are preferred; in wet areas (bathroom, kitchen) the surface is fully sealed with waterproofing materials.
Proper waterproofing reduces not only leaks but also heat loss; combined with thermal insulation it saves energy. We determine which material is needed on which surface through an on-site inspection.
